Vehicle Window Centre, the UK's largest specialist horsebox window manufacturer, has introduced a beautiful new range of glass which works especially well with its "continuous style" windows and "teardrops".

The glass itself is coloured, rather than the popular alternative of adhering a film to the window. The benefit of TINT over film is that the black tint is within the glass, so doesn't come off. Film scratches and peels over time.

Horseboxes made with Vehicle Window Centre black glass windows look truly stunning. The tint itself is dark, unlike our standard bronze, or alternative blue, green or grey. Black glass looks like limousine privacy glass.

WARNING! Is your horsebox glass legal?
There is a very limited supply of black glass within the UK, and it usually takes longer to make. However please note that there are two standards of black (and other colour) glass which is supplied to horsebox window manufacturers. One carries just a "BS" mark, and the other carries both a "BS" and "E" mark. "BS" marked glass is perfectly legal and safe for use within the UK, however glass which does NOT also carry the "E" mark is NOT legal for use outside the UK. Therefore, if you travel your vehicle abroad it may not be road-legal and this may also affect your insurance. Please check with whoever is manufacturing your windows or horsebox that you order the correct glass for your needs - bearing in mind that future owners of your vehicle may need to travel it abroad.
