"FLUSH MOUNTED INTERNAL DOOR LOCK AND HANDLE"

horsebox door handle Our internal doors have traditionally been fitted with a "knob set", a door handle with a key lock on one side and a latch on the other.

While this type of lock is ideally suited for an internal door into a horsebox's shower or toilet, it is less than ideal fitted between a horsebox's living area and horse area because frequently the horse partitions are set so that the horse is close enough to the living door to be able to grab the lock with his teeth.

Therefore a flush mounted lock is idea for this area, but the door also needs to be key-lockable on the horse side. This ensures that the horsebox ramp can be left down, with the living area safely locked.

Our new living area lock is flush mounted and fitted on the correct side to allow the door to be key-locked on the horse side (our external door lock is only able to be fitted to the other side).

In addition we have now added a flush mounted pull handle which dramatically improves the usability of the door.
